Blooming Health Welcomes Chethan Sathya to Its Advisory Board

[New York, NY, 7-19-24] - Blooming Health, a company in the Social Services space, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chethan Sathya to its advisory board. This significant new addition comes as Blooming Health continues to support social service providers and community based organizations through its one-stop-shop social services platform and expanding its services into the broader population e.g. early childhood programs, caregiver programs . With over a decade of experience in the healthcare sector, Dr. Sathya is a leader in public health, healthcare improvement, and health technology. He is a nationally recognized pediatric surgeon, who works with vulnerable populations, including children and families, well beyond the operating room to try and improve long-term health outcomes. Furthermore, Dr. Sathya serves as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Northwell Health, working at the intersection of public health and technology to improve health outcomes for diverse communities. In his role as the Director of the Center for Gun Violence Prevention at Northwell Health, Dr. Sathya leads a multidisciplinary team focused on research, advocacy, education, and clinical care to reduce the impact of firearm injuries.  

With an MD from the University of Toronto, a fellowship in pediatric surgery from Northwestern University, and fellowships in global journalism and public health, Dr. Sathya is committed to creating a healthier, safer, and more equitable world through collaboration with diverse stakeholders and partners.
