Before we were Blooming Health, we were daughters, sons, nieces and nephews, in-laws and neighbors trying to help the older generations in our families navigate a world that seemed to have forgotten them.
Missed appointments, difficult-to-navigate procedures, accessibility issues and more are all hurdles to getting them care. And we saw that this was happening not because of a lack of empathy, but because the systems in place simply weren’t enough.
We couldn’t stand by and let those gaps grow into chasms. So we built Blooming Health. We are a company of caregivers who understand, at the most personal level, what it means to serve others.
Blooming Health started with a mission to help aging adults but as we grew, we saw the need went beyond the aging population. Many underserved populations are struggling to access basic needs like food, housing, and healthcare. Across the U.S, people are falling through cracks that were never supposed to exist.
So we widened our scope. We built tools that could listen, respond, and take action to serve more individuals with effective social care programs. We want to show these underserved populations: you matter. You’re seen. You’re valued.
But it’s not only about technology, it's about changing the world around us. That’s why we joined the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). We knew that if we wanted to make a real impact, we couldn’t do it alone. We needed partners, advocates, and champions who shared our vision of a world where no one is left behind. We made a commitment together—to improve access to essential resources for underserved communities, to amplify the voices of those who are often silenced, and to build a future where care is the rule, not the exception.
Our journey has been filled with stories that remind us why we started. Like Jasmine, a young mother who didn’t know about the assistance available to her until Blooming Health sent her an automated message after her hospital visit. Or Mr. Alvarez, a retired teacher who had nearly given up on scheduling his medical appointments until our system helped him connect with a navigator through his preferred text channel. Or Mrs. Thompson, who finally felt heard when she received a follow-up call about her satisfaction with the services provided to her. These aren’t just stories; their lives changed. And they fuel our “why” every single day.
But we can’t do it alone. To those reading this, we ask: Can you help fund us? Can you connect us to those who would benefit from using us? Because the truth is, this isn’t just our story. It’s yours, too.
It’s the story of every caregiver who’s ever felt overwhelmed. Every community leader who’s ever wanted to do more but didn’t have the tools. Every person who’s ever needed help but didn’t know where to turn.
Together, we can meet the goals we set with CGI. Together, we can ensure that every person, regardless of their age or circumstance, knows they are cared for. This is why we do it. For the Jasmines, the Mr. Alvarezes, the Mrs. Thompsons, and for every name and story yet to come. For the belief that care, when it blooms, can change everything.
